NDSU to host first round playoff game

(Fargo, N.D.) -- North Dakota State to host a first-round FCS playoff game.

The Bison didn't get any love from the FCS playoff committee as they were left out of the top eight seeds. Which means they will play on Thanksgiving weekend for the first time since 2010. The top eight seeds are as follows, #1 South Dakota State, #2 Montana, #3 South Dakota, #4 Idaho, #5 Albany, #6 Montana State, #7 Furman, #8 Villanova. 

The Bison got the next-best thing as they will host a playoff game at the Fargodome against Pioneer Football League champion Drake. The game will be played on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and can be seen exclusively on ESPN+.
