Stellar third quarter lifts Wolves past Clippers

(Los Angeles, CA) --The Minnesota Timberwolves took down the Los Angeles Clippers 121-100. The Pack trailed by four at the half, before outscoring LA 40-19 in the third quarter.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 24 points. Anthony Edwards added 23 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Monte Morris totaled five points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and zero turnovers over 18 minutes in his team debut. Minnesota leads the Western Conference with a 37-16 record.

The Wolves will now head to Portland for the back end of their back-to-back, taking on the Trail Blazers with the tip set for 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
