(Fort Myers, FL) — Louie Varland had a bad day during a 12-3 Twins loss to the Tigers in a Spring Training game at Lee Health Sports Complex.
Varland was tagged with the loss after surrendering eight runs on nine hits and three walks in four innings. Ryan Jeffers added a home run in the losing effort. Cole Sands takes the hill for the Twins against Washington on Thursday.
