Report: Wolves schedule ownership mediation for May 1

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Glen Taylor will face-off against Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez when they two parties meet for a mediation session next month.

ESPN reported yesterday that the session will take place on May 1st. Current Wolves majority owner Glen Taylor voided a contract to sell the team to Lore and Rodriguez last month, claiming that the pair failed to meet financial deadlines. Lore and Rodriguez refuted the claim, saying they submitted paperwork to make the final payment on their three-installment plan to buy the team in March.

Mediation is the first step to try to resolve the conflict according to the original contract between Taylor and his would-be successors.
