Timberwolves crush Nuggets to take 2-0 series lead

(Denver, CO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves cruised to a 106-80 win over the Denver Nuggets in Game Two of the Western Conference semifinals at Ball Arena.

Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns tied with a team-high 27 points to help the Wolves take a commanding 2-0 series lead over the defending champions.  Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Naz Reid came off the bench to score 14 points apiece.  Minnesota was without Center Rudy Gobert due to the berth of his child. The Wolves have won all six of their games this postseason.

Game Three will be played in Minnesota on Friday.
