Former NDSU men's basketball forward Taylor Braun
Former North Dakota State University basketball player Taylor Braun has signed a contract to play his fifth professional season for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel’s top league.
Braun spent the 2017-18 season with the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League, where he averaged 10.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He capped the year with six games for VL Pesaro in Italy’s Serie A, putting up 12.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in his first stint in Italy.
Braun played for NDSU from 2009-14, earning Summit League Player of the Year honors in 2014. He began his professional career with one season in Belgium and two seasons in Germany. Braun signed with the NBA’s Utah Jazz last September and spent training camp with the team.
