(Paris) — Anthony Edwards has won his first Olympic Gold medal.
The Timberwolves superstar chipped in during Team USA’s 98-87 win over France in the Gold medal round on Saturday. Edwards finished the game with eight points, a steal, and a rebound in just nine minutes of playing time. Wolves center Rudy Gobert had two points and three boards for France and took home Silver.
Edwards and Gobert will spend the next few months gearing up for the start of the NBA regular season in October.
