The Minnesota Lynx dropped Game One of their WNBA Semifinals series to the Connecticut Sun 73-70. Minnesota led by five points heading into the fourth quarter, but Connecticut outscored the Lynx 16-8 in the frame.
Napheesa Collier paced the Lynx with 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Bridget Carleton added 17 points while Kayla McBride chipped in 12 points.
Connecticut now leads the best-of-five series 1-0. Game Two will be at the Target Center on Tuesday night with tip scheduled for 8:30 p.m. and game coverage available on ESPN2.
