(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx had no trouble dismissing the Phoenix Mercury with a 101-88 win in Game Two of the First Round of the WNBA Playoffs at the Target Center.
Minnesota swept the best-of-three series behind a dominant performance from Napheesa Collier, who tied a playoff record with 42 points. Collier added five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Kayla McBride chipped in with 15 points in the victory. Alanna Smith and Bridget Carleton each added 12 points, while Courtney Williams tallied 11 points.
The Lynx will take on the Connecticut Sun in the best-of-five WNBA semifinals starting Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. with game coverage available on ESPN.
