On Wednesday, March 25 Minnesota Sports and Events announced a bid to host the 2028 NFL Draft. The submitted bid to host the draft would be in partnership with the Minnesota Vikings and U.S. Bank Stadium.
The 2026 NFL Draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25. The 2027 NFL Draft is scheduled to be in our nation’s capitol, Washington D.C.
Minnesota is the only NFC North team to not host the NFL Draft since it began moving the host site from New York. Chicago held the draft in 2015 and 2016 while Detroit and Green Bay hosted the draft in back-to-back years in 2024 and 2025.
The 2028 NFL Draft will be held just over 10 years after Minnesota hosted Super Bowl LII in February of 2018.
