The North Dakota State women’s basketball team was ranked No. 1 in last week’d College Insider Mid-Major Poll, but are also garnering some attention nationally. In this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll the Bison received a vote in the poll. NDSU is slotted at No. 40 in the NCAA NET rankings, the highest of any Summit League team.
They are joined by Minnesota, Rhode Island, Georgia, Iowa State, Illinois, Richmond, NC State, and Fairfield as un-ranked teams receiving votes in the poll. Upon currently sits a No. 1 in the AP Poll with a perfect 23-0 record, receiving all 31 first-place votes.
NDSU sits at 22-2 overall on the season with an 11-0 record in Summit League play. Additionally, the Bison are riding a 20-game winning streak.
North Dakota State will head to Grand Forks on Sunday, February 15 to battle the Fighting Hawks with a 1 p.m. tip-off.
