The RedHawks exploded for a seven run eighth inning en route to a 12-9 win on Sunday.
Wyatt Cheney gave up there runs over 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision. Mason Pelio surrendered four runs (two earned) over 1 1/3 innings in relief. Jon Beymer three a scoreless inning. Liu Fuenmayer tossed two innings while giving up two runs and earning the win. Tyler Jeans three a shutout ninth inning, earning the save.
Jake Hjelle hit a home run with three RBI while Jesus Lujano added three RBI. Jairus Richards and Jose Sermo each hit a home run with two RBI. Juan Fernandez and Aidan Byrne chipped in an RBI apiece.
Fargo-Moorhead improved to 4-0 so far on the season. The RedHawks and Railroaders will continue their series on Monday with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m.
