Twins fall to Tigers in series opener

The Minnesota Twins dropped their series opener in Detroit falling to the Tigers 6-3 on Monday night.

Travis Adams struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up two runs in a no-decision. Noah Davis gave up three runs in one inning of relief and was tagged with the loss. Erasmo Ramirez surrendered one run over two innings out of the bullpen.

Matt Wallner, Trevor Larnach, and Ryan Jeffers each hit a solo home run in the game.

The Twins and Tigers will continue their series on Tuesday night beginning at 5:40 p.m. Zebby Matthews will be on the mound for Minnesota while Chris Paddack counters for Detroit.
