Manuel Margot hit a solo home run and Royce Lewis hit an RBI sacrifice fly. Ryan Jeffers grounded into a double play that scored Minnesota’s third run.
The Twins and Cubs will continue their series on Tuesday evening with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m. Pablo Lopez will get the nod for Minnesota while Shota Imanaga counters for Chicago.
