Wolves crushed by Thunder; OKC heading to NBA Finals for first time since 2012

The Minnesota Timberwolves were crushed by the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-94 on Wednesday night.

OKC outscored Minnesota 26-9 in the first quarter and the game was sideways the rest of the way. The Wolves shot 41.2% from the field, 35.3% from three-point range, and 80% from the free throw line while the Thunder shot 52.3% overall while knocking down 40% from deep, and 85.7% from the line.

Julius Randle paced the Pack with 24 points. Anthony Edwards added 19 points and six rebounds. Naz Reid and Terrance Shannon Jr. chipped in 11 points apiece off the bench.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander powered the Thunder with 34 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. Chet Holmgren added 22 points and seven rebounds.

Thunder win best-of-seven series 4-1 Oklahoma City is heading back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2012… They will play the winner of the Indiana Pacers – New York Knicks series.
