The Minnesota Timberwolves took down the Golden State Warriors 127-117 on Friday night. The win ended Minnesota’s three-game losing streak. Golden State was without Steph Curry who missed the game with an injured knee.
Anthony Edwards powered the Wolves with 42 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. This was Edwards’ 10th game of 40-plus points this season. Rudy Gobert added 18 points and nine rebounds while Jaden McDaniels dropped 15 points. Naz Reid and Ayo Dosunmu tallied 12 points apiece followed by 11 points from Bones Hyland and 10 points form Julius Randle.
Minnesota show 45-82 (56%) from the field, 12-30 (40%) from three-point range, and 23-26 (88%) from the free throw line. The Wolves won the regular season series 3-1.
The Pack will wrap up their road trip on Sunday in Oklahoma City against the Thunder. The game will be nationally televised on ABC with the tip-off scheduled for 12 p.m.
