Analysts: Biden’s chances at winning Minnesota falling

(St. Paul, MN) — Two political analysts are lowering President Joe Biden’s chances at winning Minnesota in the November election.

Over the past ten days, the Cook Report and Larry Sabato have downgraded Minnesota from “likely Democratic” to “leaning Democratic.” That said, the Gopher State hasn’t voted for a Republican president since Nixon in 1972. Given this weekend’s events in Pennsylvania and the Republican National Convention, former president Trump’s approval ratings are likely to increase overall, but not necessarily in Minnesota.
