(MOORHEAD) — Shiann Erickson, age 21, and Rosa Garza, age 24, both of Moorhead, MN, have been booked into the Clay County Correctional Facility on Second Degree Murder Without Intent charges.
On March 18, 2024, the Moorhead Police Department began investigating the death of three-year-old Easton Deronjic after a medical call was dispatched for a child not breathing in the 1500 block of Belsly Boulevard.
The investigation has been ongoing, and autopsy results were recently received. The Clay County Attorney’s Office issued warrants for the arrests, and both were taken into custody this morning without incident.
The younger sibling remains in protective custody.
