FARGO, N.D. – Court records show former Cass County Deputy Darin Viken has been charged with six counts of disorderly conduct – harassment.
Six no contact orders have been requested. The Cass County Clerk of Court says no probable cause affidavit has been filed yet.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says Viken was placed on administrative leave on July 17 and was fired days later. He was with the office for 19 years. The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation was investigating Viken.
Viken was the Sheriff’s Office’s 24/7 Sobriety Program Coordinator. The Sheriff’s Office requested participants who would like to report concerning interactions while involved in the program to contact them.
