(FARGO) – The Fargo Growth Plan 2024 has been adopted.
“This Growth Plan covers the entire City of Fargo,” Assistant Planning Director Mark Williams said.
Williams said that the community has, over the past year-and-a-half, provided guidance throughout extensive community engagement opportunities.
“This has been a great experience,” Commissioner Dave Piepkorn said. “And now we have defined borders.”
The Growth Plan contains four sections: Growth history, intentions for future growth, framework for practical growth management and the implementation step.
The Growth Plan allows the city to look at its borders.
The Commission approved the plan unanimously.
