Crappie population looks good at Jamestown Reservoir

(Fargo, ND) –North Dakota’s Jamestown Reservoir is known as the state’s premier crappie fishing spot, and this year is no exception.

North Dakota Game and Fish says conservation efforts from previous years have paid off, resulting in a healthy and plentiful crappie population.

This year’s survey found plenty of 10-and-a-half to 11-inch crappie in the reservoir.
