Federal judge blocks Sandy Hook families from collecting from Alex Joness

(Sandy Hook, CT) — A federal judge is blocking families of Sandy Hook victims from attempting to collect assets from Alex Jones’ media company.

This comes after Jones was ordered to pay over a billion dollars to the Sandy Hook families over misinformation he helped spread about the 2012 school shooting. The court trustee overseeing the liquidation of Jones’ assets says some of the families were moving too fast to collect the money.

The judge agreed and the trustee will continue an orderly wind down and sale of Jone’s Free Speech Systems company.
