Comcast cable customers have not been able to watch the Major League Baseball team on Bally Sports North since May 1.
That is when Comcast’s contract with Diamond Sports Group expired.
Diamond’s lawyer told a federal bankruptcy judge yesterday that a new contract is close to getting done.
Finalizing the deal could return the Twins broadcasts to Comcast within a week or two.
