Oil Tycoon Harold Hamm: a lot of people “didn’t care for Donald Trump coming to North Dakota”

Harold Hamm talks Republican Party politics and shares energy industry insights while speaking with The Flag’s Scott Hennen. 

(Fargo, ND) –Fracking pioneer and oil tycoon Harold Hamm is recalling Donald Trump’s visit to North Dakota in 2016, where then candidate Trump shared his vision for the energy industry.

“So there was a lot of people that didn’t care for Donald Trump coming to North Dakota. They didn’t realize how impactful that could be. I encourage him to come not only to North Dakota but (also) to Montana,” said Hamm.

During the visit, Trump spoke at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference.

Eight thousand attendees were inside the building, along with an estimated eight thousand people gathered outside the conference.

Hamm shared the comments while appearing on The Flag’s “What’s on Your Mind.”
