Radio stolen from Hunter Ambulance Service

HUNTER, N.D. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stolen Motorola APX 4000R radio taken from the Hunter Ambulance Service station.

The organization says the $5,000 piece of equipment was taken around 3:00 PM June 24th. The ambulance building was open to the public to manage cleanup operations and donations and feed volunteers after a tornado went through the area on June 20.

The ambulance building was open to the public as it was being used to manage cleanup operations, feed volunteers, and house donated supplies.

Hunter Ambulance says radio data shows it was taken to the Fargo area. Staff wasn’t aware it was stolen until they say it was put into emergency mode around 12:30 AM on June 30 triggering the Cass County Sheriff’s Office to respond.

Hunter Ambulance officials asks whomever has the radio to return it with no questions asked. If you know who may have the radio, or where it may be, call the Sheriff’s Office at 701-241-5800.
