Republican challenger criticizes MN Representative Michelle Fischbach for “lack of getting into the district”

(Fargo, ND) — Steve Boyd, a republican challenger for Minnesota’s 7th congressional district says there is a complaint about republican incumbent Representative Michelle Fischbach that he is hearing from voters.

“One is that lack of getting into the district, having conversations, holding town halls, being face to face, taking questions, showing up,” said Boyd.

Boyd said he has participated in more than 50 town halls and other in-person events during his campaign so far.

Boyd said a representative has to “be connected to the people” and “be there, available, (and) accountable.”

The Minnesota primary election is set for August 13th.
