Sexual harassment trial against former ND school counselor dismissed over “clerical errors”

WDAY RADIO — The sexual harassment case against a former Dakota Prairie School counselor is dead for the time being.

This according to court officials in Bismarck, who say Judge Kristi Venhuizen dismissed the case against 47-year-old Brendon Thomas Parsley, who had faced three felony counts after he allegedly solicited, lured and sexually assaulted students he had been counseling. The case reportedly was dismissed due to clerical errors related to dates in prosecutors’ documents.

Court officials say charges can be re-filed once documents are amended.
