Sheriff’s Office: Fargo Man stabbed, search for unidentified suspect continues

MOORHEAD, MN — A man was stabbed in the hand Sunday morning by an unidentified suspect, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the individual.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area near Highway 75 and 57th Avenue North Sunday afternoon at approximately 12:45 p.m. Deputies say a male was attempting to stop vehicles along the road, and told a driver he was stabbed in the hand by a male he was previously getting a ride from.

The victim describes the suspect driver as a 45-year-old white male with darker complexion with a “buzz cut” style haircut. His vehicle is described as a blue Volkswagen passenger car.

The 20-year-old Fargo man was taken from the scene by a family member. It is unknown if the victim was hospitalized. At this time, authorities say there is no perceived threat to the public. Anyone with information related to the incident, or the alleged suspect, is encouraged to contact authorities.
