Several Chances For Rain

Several chances for rain will cross through our region over the next several days.

Thursday, a chance for some scattered light rain showers and thundershowers today with a northeast wind between 10-25 mph. A better chance for some showers and thundershowers comes through overnight stretching through the day of Friday with highs in the 40s and a northwest wind between 10-25 mph. Through Friday night some rain and thundershowers may mix with some wet snow into Saturday morning then a chance for pockets of a wintry mix Saturday with winds increasing between 15-30 mph and gusty. Sunshine will return on Sunday but the wind will remain strong. Another more extensive storm system is expected in the area mid-next week with temperatures for the most part in the 40s to 50s. This next week's storm could deliver more significant rain totals.

Through the next couple of days into Saturday, most of the area looks to pick up between .2 and .5 inches of rain with some localized areas higher. Attached below is the NWS Blend of Models' expected rainfall,
