Winter weather advisory for this evening through Saturday afternoon.
Snow will begin in the far northern valley and west of the valley this afternoon, then punch into the Fargo area after dark and last through tonight before ending Saturday morning with a few snow showers Saturday afternoon possible.
Wind through tonight will be between 25-50 mph causing blowing and drifting snow, reduced visibility along with poor and deteriorating road conditions.
3-6+ inches of snow in Grand Forks/Devils Lake area
1-3 inches of snow in Fargo
2-4+ inches round Jamestown (higher amounts north)
1-2 inch Wahpeton-> Detroit Lakes (lesser amounts south)
