Some scattered snow showers and pockets of a wintry mix and freezing drizzle possible this afternoon then a chance for snow this evening into tonight. Skies will go mainly cloudy today with a SE wind 10-20 mph. The wind picks up overnight between 15-30 mph and gusty into Friday which could produce areas of blowing and drifting snow along with a slight chance for snow as a larger storm system passes to our south bringing heavier snow to South Dakota into central/southern Minnesota. Some of that heavier snow could reach into the further southern valley.
