Fargo Police investigating crash that smashed into apartment building

(Fargo, ND) -- One person is injured after a car crashed through the side of a Fargo apartment.

The crash occurred late Monday afternoon, when a man reportedly confused the accelerator pedal with his brake while driving. His vehicle smashed through the wall of an apartment building, injuring one person inside. Authorities say reckless endangerment charges are likely to be filed.

The extent of the damage caused by the crash is still being assessed.
