More areas of Minnesota drought-free after another rainy week

(Fargo, ND)  --  More areas of Minnesota are now drought-free after another week of rainy weather.

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor report shows that just over 40-percent of the state is clear of drought, up from about 26-percent last week.

Severe drought still affects about ten-percent of the state, with a larger area of moderate drought in northern and southeastern Minnesota.
