(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Grand Forks Police Department has welcomed a new addition to the ranks. K9 Hart and his handler were sworn-in yesterday at police headquarters. The 18-month-old German Shepherd trained for 14 weeks with his handler Corporal John Klingbeil.
The K9 unit is certified in locating evidence, searches, obedience and tracking and catching suspects.
