(Grand Forks, ND) -- Leadership in the City of Grand Forks gave insight into an updated military mission.

Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski spoke to the Flag's What's on your Mind about multiple topics related to the The Space Development Agency and updated missions in the Grand Forks Air Force Base. He also spoke on the transition between missions at the Test Resource Management Center with the U.S. Department of Defence to do hyper-sonic missile detection and testing, a move that Bochenski says will bring an estimated 500-700 high paying tech related jobs.

Mayor Bochenski also highlighted contributions from Senators Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven related to the mission of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance). Another mission is "expected" says Bochenski, which he believes will bring more jobs to the region.
