Wild fall to Flyers

(Philadelphia, PA) -- The Wild weren't able to complete a three-goal comeback attempt during a 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

The Wild gave up three goals in the first 30 minutes of the game and trailed 3-0 heading into third. Dakota Mermis and Marcus Foligno both scored in the first five minutes of the third to bring Minnesota within a goal, but the Flyers scored three unanswered goals to end the game. Filip Gustavsson stopped just 29 of the 35 shots that he faced. Minnesota is tied for fourth place in the Central Division with seven points and a 3-3-1 record.

The Wild are at the Capitals tonight at 6 p.m.
