(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Naz Reid is being recognized as the NBA's best reserve for the 2023-24 season.

The fifth-year pro was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year after averaging 13.5 points per game and 5.2 assists per game this season. He shot a career-high 41.4 percent from three-point range, helping Minnesota to a third-place finish in the Western Conference at 56-26. Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk finished second in the voting. Per NBA communications, the 10-point difference between Reid and Monk was the smallest margin in the history of the current voting format, which started in the 2002-03 season.
