MOORHEAD, MINN. – The City of Moorhead says one of its vendors experienced a cyber attack on their system.
In a message sent out Friday afternoon, the city says its Parks and Recreation registration provider, Sportsman Software, experienced an outage in late February into early March. That outage has now been tied to a cyber attack.
No City controlled information systems were affected by this incident, officials say.
Sportsman Software says no customer credit card data has been exposed, but an investigation is ongoing into whether or not personal customer data or employee data has been compromised.
