OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. – Eight people were able to get out of a home on fire near Battle Lake over the weekend.
Crews responded to a house on County Highway 83 northwest of town around noon on Sunday, April 19 finding flames spread from the deck to the home. When firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed.
Authorities say two adults and six children got out of the home safely and the home has been destroyed.
A cause has not been determined.
