Wild fall to Avalanche in Game 2 of Western Conference Semifinals

The Minnesota Wild fell to the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 in Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinals series on Tuesday night.

Filip Gustavsson made his 2026 postseason debut, saving 18 of the 22 shots he faced in net.

Kirill Kaprizov and Marcus Johansson each scored a goal in the game. Danila Yurov, Mats Zuccarello, and Daemon Hunt recorded an assist apiece.

The Avs won the faceoff battle 39-23. Colorado also won 63 percent of the faceoffs.

Game 3 will be on Saturday night in St. Paul with puck drop scheduled for 8 p.m. and full game coverage available on TNT.
