MOORHEAD, MINN. – North Dakota’s former lieutenant governor is set to receive an honorary doctorate degree from her alma mater.
Tammy Miller will receive an honorary Doctorate of Business degree from Minnesota State Moorhead tomorrow afternoon at the Nemzek Fieldhouse in Moorhead as a part of commencement ceremonies. The degree will honor her business leadership, public service and advocacy for employee-owned companies.
Miller was the chief operating officer in the Governor’s Office from 2022 until 2022, and was sworn in as lieutenant governor on January 3, 2023, and served through 2024. Prior to her public service, Miller served as CEO of Border States.
