Anthony Edwards fourth quarter performance propelled the Minnesota Timberwolves past the San Antonio Spurs 114-109. San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama was ejected with 8:39 remaining in the second quarter after committing a Flagrant 2 foul, elbowing Naz Reid in the face.
Minnesota trialed by four points entering the fourth quarter before outscoring the Spurs 34-25 in the final frame. The Wolves shot 45 percent (42-94) from the field while connecting on 37 percent (10-27) of their three-point attempts and shooting 91 percent (20-22) from the free throw line.
Edwards scored 16 of his game-high 36 points in the fourth quarter. Naz Reid added 15 points, nine rebounds, and four assists off the bench. Jaden McDaniels chipped in 14 points and six rebounds. Julius Randle tallied 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists while Rudy Gobert dropped 11 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists. Ayo Dosunmu added 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Terrence Shannon Jr. and Mike Conley chipped in eight points apiece off the bench.

The Pack won the rebounding battle 49-41. Minnesota scored 21 points off of 14 forced turnovers while San Antonio forced 17 turnovers, scoring 19 points off those turnovers.
The Wolves tied the best-of-seven series 2-2 with the win. Game 5 will be on Tuesday night in San Antonio with the tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. with full game coverage available on NBC/Peacock.
