Moffit Man Gets Eight Years, Probation During Sentencing In Manslaughter Case

(Bismarck, ND)  --  A Moffit man convicted of manslaughter in the death of a Mandan man will spend the next eight years in prison.

State officials in Bismarck say 48-year-old Arthur Funk got the news yesterday during a sentencing hearing in a Bismarck courtroom.  In May, a jury found Funk not guilty of murder and negligent homicide, but guilty of manslaughter.

Funk reportedly also must complete five years of supervised probation after he completes his sentence.
