Game and Fish Department Confirms Bobcat Near Northwood

Residents in the Northwood have reported seeing a rather large cat in their area lately—and North Dakota Game and Fish has confirmed it’s a bobcat.

Residents say it has been hanging around town, and has been seen approximately two to five miles south of Northwood along the airport road.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department was contacted and made confirmation based on pictures provided—and residents in the area say it’s been in town nearly all month.
