Court records show that the re-scheduling of the sentencing hearing in the cass of William Hoehn has been set. Hoehn pled guilty to conspiracy to commit kidnapping - interference with government or political function - child victim, along with a charge of false information to law enforcement. He was acquitted in the charge of conspiracy to commit murder. All of these charges stem from the brutal death of Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind. His ex-girlfriend, Brooke Crews, is serving a life sentence in the killing of LaFontaine-Greywind and the cutting out of Savanna's baby from her womb.
Hoehn was previously sentenced in October 2018 to life in prison, with the possibility of parole. He was also assigned a Special Dangerous Offender designation on October 31, 2018.
The North Dakota Supreme Court has since ruled that Hoehn should not have been given the Special Dangerous Offender designation, and has directed the court to re-sentence Hoehn.
The sentencing date has been set for October 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Cass County District Courthouse in Fargo.
