The months long search for a missing New Town woman appears to be over.
An obituary posted on Langhans Funeral Home’s website for 32-year-old Olivia Kerri Lone Bear has appeared Thursday afternoon. It says Lone Bear died on July 31 in New Town.
Law enforcement officials are confident the body pulled out of a vehicle pulled from the Fort Berthold Reservation earlier this week is that of Olivia Lone Bear.
A spokesman with the FBI says that a full DNA test is still required for positive identification of the body.
The obituary says the funeral is Monday at 10 a.m. in Johnny Bird Memorial Hall in New Town, with family and friends gathering Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.in Langhans Funeral Home in Parshall.
The wake will begin at 5 p.m. in the memorial hall in New Town.
