Beginning today, motorists on Highway 59 south of Detroit Lakes will encounter detours, as crews begin a resurfacing project from Willow Street in Detroit Lakes to just south of the Otter Tail County line.
The original schedule has been revised, and Detour A and B will both begin this week. Highway 59 will be closed from County Road 6 to County Road 17, just past Seven Sisters Spirits. Traffic will be detoured to County Road 6, County Road 22 and County Road 17. The detours will remain in place until early September.
