North Side Of Roberts Alley Reopened

Contractors for the Roberts Alley project have reopened the north portion of the alley between Broadway North and Roberts Street, between 4th Avenue North and the Atomic Coffee building. The alley is fully accessible to parking, deliveries and pedestrian through traffic. A new pedestrian lane has been added to the alley adjacent to the RoCo (Roberts Commons Apartments).

Property owners and renters are once again responsible for their garbage disposal. If dumpsters have not been returned to the alley, please contact the applicable contractors and request them to be returned. With the project work complete, the contractors are no longer assisting with garbage removal.

With the full alley reopened, deliveries will no longer be allowed on the street. All deliveries will need to occur in the alley.

In adjacent project work, Roberts Street is currently closed to vehicle traffic between the 2nd Avenue North intersection to the south entrances lanes of the RoCo Parking Ramp. Weather permitting, crews will move to the north portion between 4th Avenue North intersection to north of the current work area to start the final phase of the reconstruction and infrastructure project later in September. Pedestrian traffic is maintained throughout the block and street parking is available in the north portion of Roberts Street.
