Mahoney declares State of Emergency

Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney has declared a state of emergency in Fargo to protect the safety of residents, personnel, infrastructure and property in light of the escalating situation in Downtown Fargo. Protesters began attacking Fargo PD officers and private property, in addition to setting fires and throwing projectiles.

Please stay out of the downtown area until further notice as the Fargo Police Department works to fully secure the area.
