Fargo construction company aims to bring $200,000 homes to the metro

(Fargo, ND) -- A Fargo based home building company says they are working towards building homes that are good quality and affordable in the area.

The company is called Mission Homes. Their model looks to buy supplies in bulk to drive down their overall costs. They say the cost reductions, along with other processes that increase home-building efficiency, allows them to sell good homes at lower prices than other builders. Other efficiencies include looking at 3D printing options,

As of this publication, the homes they are selling in Horace and West Fargo range in price between $295,000 - $350,000. Officials in Mission Homes say their typical prices fall between $275,00 - $325,000. The business is looking to find more efficiencies to continue reducing prices.

"Do I believe that we will be able to crank out a $200,000 home and make a little bit of money on that? Yeah, that's eventually the goal, "said Brady Nash, CEO of Nash Capital LLC, "Right now its defining and developing a really good process and efficiency. That is the goal."

Mission Homes has either built or is currently building 88 homes since 2001. An additional 30-50 homes are in the planning phase for the spring of 2024. They have a goal to build approximately 100 homes a year in the next five years.
